Practical Experience: Common Problems
Due to recent feedback, we have taken an intensive look at the rubber pad for AUTOP-STENHOJ Maestro lifts. We have repeatedly received reports from the field that a newer version is causing issues. The rubber pad does not provide a sufficient positive fit when positioned. This creates movement between the rubber pad and the support plate, which is further intensified by shear forces during the lifting process.
As a result, the screw holes integrated into the rubber lip on the underside are subjected to heavy stress. In the worst-case scenario, they tear out after only a short period of use, causing the entire rubber pad to break apart very quickly.
Our Solution in Detail
Based on these findings, we have structurally revised and specifically reinforced the rubber pad. The pad is now more stable overall and manufactured with a higher rubber content. At the same time, the rubber lip has been adjusted so that the pad now sits securely with a positive fit on the support plate. Additionally, an integrated metallic anti-slip protection ensures that slipping during the lifting process is prevented.

- Integrated, rounded metal plate with anti-slip protection.
The rubber pad is embedded with a positive fit in the support plate and cannot slip. - Optimized rubber lip in a more solid design.
Sits significantly more stable and precisely on the support plate. - Increased rubber content and greater material thickness of the rubber lip.
The mounting holes are much more stable and no longer tear out during the lifting process.
The result is a new premium version that eliminates the weaknesses of the OEM pad (part number: 4003427) and is built for the tough daily routine of a workshop.
Availability
The new rubber pad will be available from the end of May 2026.
